Anti-Bully Activities
Activity 1– Wrinkled paper. On a piece of paper, have your students draw an outline of a person. Then have them write rude things on the paper these could be: your stupid, your fat, your ugly...) When your students are done, have them role the paper into a ball. Then un role it. See all of the wrinkles in the paper? That is what words do to a person. When you say mean things to a person it wrinkles their mind and they don't think right. They start to think that they are no good, just like the wrinkled paper.
Activity 2- Toothpaste. Get a tube of toothpaste. Call a volunteer to the front of the room. Get a piece of tape and place in the view of the rest of the students. Have the volunteer put a line the length of the tape with the toothpaste. When they are don't, tell the class that the toothpaste is words. When words, like the toothpaste come out, they cannot go back in. They are their forever.
